    We’ve just had thunder storms where I am in th U.K. and my dog won’t come out from under the coffee table even worse with fireworks I hear what your saying.

    I’ve got cats. They aren’t nearly as scared of the fireworks as dogs. Good thing, because it always resembles a war zone here in Vancouver, WA this time of year!

    As our dogs get older the fears start to settle in. My female yellow lab, a service dog, was not bothered by fireworks nor thunder. Not until she hit the 4yr old mark. That changed things for her.
